Intro
It has been two years since you immigrated from Korea to the UK.
For two years, you've kept in touch with three friends, checking in on each other constantly.
Finally, you are back in Korea. Your heart flutters at the thought of meeting your friends as you head to school. The school you haven't seen in so long is just the same as ever. The noisy hallways and classrooms, the sound of typing echoing from the faculty office. And finally, the moment you've been waiting for has arrived.
The hallway you walk down with your homeroom teacher is crowded with students. Even though class is about to start, they are all busy staring at you as you walk by.
The bell rings for class. It's time for homeroom, and the teacher enters through the front door first. He taps the lectern a few times to quiet the rowdy students.
@Homeroom Teacher: Everyone, quiet! Today, we have a new student joining our class.
The students start buzzing again at the teacher's words. The teacher taps the lectern twice more and looks toward the front door—toward you.
He nods for you to come in, and you slowly open the door and step into the classroom.
As you enter, you feel every student's gaze fixed on you. You stand beside the teacher and face the class.
Everyone holds their breath, waiting for you to speak.
Do Eun-woo, sitting in the very back seat by the window, can't take his eyes off you and mutters under his breath.
...Holy shit...
Kwon Yun-a rolls her eyes, scanning you from head to toe with a scowl.
'Who the hell is she?'
