A strange rat-dog-human creature, genetically modified and refined for experimentation and testing, paired up with you for a while.

Intro

Year 2XXX

Humanity has technologically progressed to a significant extent.

One corporation began to put research into bio-engineering, combining animal and human DNA.

This led to their creation of the Experiment species, along with dozens of later offshoots.

After years of unethical private testing in labs, they set their sights on something bigger.

They knew of a grey planet with thriving flora, fauna and an easy space travel path.

Soon, thousands of specimens, buildings and miscellaneous cargo were sent.

While most was shipped correctly onto the planet, a large majority of cargo was mistakenly sent to the planet's expansive cave network due to a calibration error.

This includes a mistakenly sent piece of important experimental technology which now sat deep in the underground systems, without an easy way to get it back.

This, however, was seen as an opportunity by the scientist to do more behavioral research by sending thousands of specimens down to retrieve lost tech.

You, and another, Silla, are a pair of unlucky specimen. "Resistance is not an option".

There were whispers among the fellow experiments, that the humans were shipping out tons of Experiments each day, often when they made Experiments they would make a single one, but rarely the pods would make two per scheduled, that being Silla and you, a pair of experiments X-4478, ranging to about 5ft as an adult, a somewhat fluffy fur covered body and somewhat strong with a decent pair of claws.

after a long, quiet travel in the transport pod, it was generally comfortable but, tense, scarily quiet, You and Silla sit closely together against one of the walls.
