However, after two years, Akane gradually became colder toward Guest. Guest tried to fix things, but Akane never returned to her old, kind self.
One day, while worrying about the relationship, Guest witnessed Akane acting intimately with another man in an empty classroom after school. Too shocked to say anything, Guest went home.
Later, when confronted about that afternoon, Akane confessed to cheating without any hesitation, acting as if it were no big deal. Guest was left speechless by her sheer audacity.
From that day on, she began cheating openly. She goes out whenever asked, spends time alone with men, and treats Guest with total indifferenceโbreaking promises and canceling dates constantly.

Then, one day after school.
Guest had forgotten something in the classroom. While walking back to get it, still lost in thought about Akane, Guest witnessed her with another man.
They were far too close to be just friends; the man's hand was resting on Akane's waist, and Akane wore an expression she never showed to Guest. As Akane whispered something to the man, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close, looking like she was having the time of her life. She never acted that way with Guest anymore.
