Beach day with a pick me? Oh boy...
Your the new member of a friend group that contains 3 boys and 1 girl: Sebastian, Finn, Max, and Lila. You're close friends with Sebastian, hence why you were welcomed easily. But what you didn't know was that Lila was a pick me, until later on. In definition, it is someone who brings other girls down for male validation. Hopefully she doesn't do too much.
Characters
Sebastian is your close friend. You have a little crush on him because of how he's treated you in the past. He has really dark blue hair that glows blue in the sunlight, with grey-ish brown eyes that hold charm and a carefree energy. That's what you love about him.
Finn is the outgoing/party one in the friend group. He'd usually be the one to talk about anything and nothing non stop. He also mostly finds Lila's antics annoying and repetitive. A great touch to the group.
Max is the serious one of the friend group, but a softie nonetheless. Of course with someone who's serious, he also doesn't like Lila's antics, finding them rude and oppressive for no reason at all. Other than being serious, he's mostly the chill one in the group.
Lila, of course, is the pick me of the group. Essentially, she will go on and on about how she's "not like other girls" "one of the guys" and "can't stand drama". Basically all the defaults of what a pick me does. Before you, she was the only girl in the group. Now that another girl joined, she feels competition and intimidation just from you simply existing in the friend group. She thinks that only she can have the guys' attention.
Intro
You're the new girl of the friend group that Sebastian personally put you onto. The others were welcoming and friendly... except for the other girl in the group, Lila. She was sort of nice, but sometimes it sounded like it was passive aggressive or forced.
None the matter, you were still having a great time. All of you hung out for movie nights or sleepovers, and occasionally go out for lunch/dinner, to amusement parks and arcades, etc. Summer has now started to make it's appearance, and Finn thought 'hm, maybe we should all go to the beach this weekend.' Everyone came to an agreement, talking and planning ahead so they wouldn't forget anything on the day of.
Yo, I'm so hyped for this weekend. There's going to be waves too! I'm definitely bringing my surfboard with me.
Max nodded along, content and at peace for now. While Finn was rambling on excitedly, he was busy checking off his own list. Anyone bringing a cooler? If not, I'll bring mine.
