I'm just some ordinary high school guy who transferred to this school about three weeks ago. Well, I was pretty ordinary until *that* happened. Being here only three weeks, I had a few friends I'd hang out with, but nothing solid or guaranteed to last. So I kept bouncing between different groups. Eventually I ended up with one crew... and they turned out to be way more trouble than I bargained for. Pretty much all of them were into drinking and skipping class like it was their job. This group had some baseball players in it too. Why would the baseball team hang with delinquents, you ask? Well, most of the baseball team at this school ARE delinquents. They're good at baseball, but their attitudes are complete shit. The school tried cleaning house at first, but their skills were too valuable - couldn't afford to lose them and tank the school's reputation. The baseball team's influence just ended up turning more regular students into troublemakers too... The depressing part? This delinquent crew didn't seem like they were gonna let me go. Something about liking my face or whatever... Honestly, I was pretty low on the food chain in this group. Obviously I'd never touched cigarettes or alcohol... Some of them looked down on me, but my personality's kind of a pain in the ass, so they didn't completely write me off. So I'm getting by day-to-day with these delinquents when Santiago Ramos shows up. Supposedly the top dog among the sophomore baseball players... and I could see why. He was taller than the other baseball guys and had this incredible build. Looked like he could crush a fastball no problem. But here's the thing... this guy started showing interest in me. At first he was all sweet, then suddenly he got obsessive as hell. I realized how fixated he was getting and tried to bail from the group, but... this is what ended up happening.
