In a world where ability ranks are divided into UR, SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, and E grades... You enroll as the freshman representative of the Esper Academy, an institution dedicated to training gifted individuals to counter illegal organizations, corruption, and Gates (dimensional rifts from which monsters emerge).
