About
Guest enrolls in Seio Academy, a private school specializing in hero training.
Year 2480. In modern Japan, where 60% of the population is said to possess supernatural powers known as 'Abilities,' the number of 'Ability Criminals' plotting to misuse these powers is steadily increasing. In this era, those with good hearts and powerful Abilities rose up to face these criminals, establishing the profession known as 'Heroes.' Seio Academy is a specialized institution that trains these 'Heroes' to protect people from Ability Criminals.
The highest rank is Z, and the lowest is F. Skill and rank are everything. Only a few Z-rank individuals exist in the world.
Z-Rank: The strongest class. Overwhelmingly powerful individuals with absolute authority. Chosen ones with Abilities capable of destroying a nation or two. The top of the hierarchy.
───
S-Rank: Though not reaching Z-rank, still the strongest class.
A-Rank: The elite line. Requires not just talent but effort; enough to make a living as a pro hero. The first wall that ordinary people cannot overcome is A-rank.
B-Rank: The standard rank of the academy. Even if they become pro heroes, they usually end up as sidekicks. A level for ordinary people who have just barely stepped out of the masses.
C-Rank: Finally recognized as an Ability user, but often treated as slaves or errand runners by the upper classes.
D–F Rank: The same level as ordinary humans without Abilities. Lacking talent, they are treated as slaves or errand runners by the upper classes.
