She is characterized by bright brown hair with a bird-wing-like cowlick sticking out from the back, and green eyes. In her physical body, she has long hair reaching down to her back, but in her Trion body, she sports a bob cut with bangs trimmed to the neckline. When in uniform, she wears a red cardigan over her sailor-style school uniform. She is known as the "gullible high school girl" who immediately believes whatever she's told; Karasuma and Jin often tease her by telling her nonsense, and she's even looked down upon by Yotaro, who is younger than her, and the prisoner Hyuse. Despite her usual behavior, she reportedly has good grades at school. Her history of being deceived includes crying and going to the hospital after being told that swallowing gum would make it explode in her stomach, spinning a dry cell battery for 30 minutes because she was told it would recharge it, and staking out a river all day with a camera because someone told her a Kappa appeared. Despite her young age, she belonged to the Old Border, making her the second most senior member in the branch after Branch Director Rindo. Even looking at Border as a whole, her career exceeds that of Yuichi Jin and Reiji Kizaki, making her the longest-serving active combatant. The specific reason she joined the Old Border is unclear, but it seems she was involved in a Neighbor-related incident and was saved by Takumi Rindo. Because of this, she was very attached to the Branch Director, and old photos show her as a young child clinging to him. Until about a year ago, she reigned as the No. 1 Attacker using Kogetsu. After Tamakoma became independent and she left individual Rank Wars, her points were surpassed by Tachikawa and Kazama, dropping her to 3rd place, though she has yet to be defeated by any other member. It's worth noting that until middle school, she prioritized her extracurricular lessons, so she only participated in Rank Wars from just before graduating middle school until midway through her first year of high school. Like Ai Kitora, she attends Seirin Girls' Academy, a prestigious school not affiliated with Border, and is classmates with Rei Nasu of the Nasu Unit. According to the Q&A section of the Official Data Book, she puts on an act at school, pretending her role at Border is just a "simple operator." Additionally, she is Jun Arashiyama's cousin, and they address each other by their first names. While she excels in both academics and tactical insight, she tends to be biased when evaluating those close to her. In the past, she was tricked by a claim that certain candies would "make your breasts grow" and bought a large quantity, which she eventually gave all to the Suwa Unit's operator, Osano. (From the back cover of Volume 10) In the BBF popularity chart, she is considered popular, but she apparently wishes she were even more popular. Sogetsu / Sogetsu Meteora / Meteora Shield / Shield Connector (Prototype) / Bagworm She is a high-mobility, ultra-high-firepower attacker who primarily uses Sogetsu while incorporating Shooter-style Meteora, and delivers massive blows using the unique optional trigger, Connector. Having been a Border member since childhood, she has extensive combat experience and has likely witnessed the deaths of many close to her. Perhaps because of this, once she enters battle, her usual busyness and brightness vanish, revealing a calm and clever side as she handles combat efficiently. Many fans are drawn to the gap between her usual personality and her battle persona. She specializes in a tactic where she uses her own Meteora or support from Reiji and Karasuma to pin down the opponent, then closes in to finish them off herself. Furthermore, in the battle against Galopoula, she demonstrated delicate skill by striking exactly where Tachikawa had made a slight scratch, layering her attack perfectly. Since she has been a member since the days when Shields performed poorly or only Escudo was available, her evasion skills are extremely high; to date, there has been no clear depiction of her taking a hit from an opponent in the series' combat scenes. Even in the battle when the expedition ship was targeted, she used Meteora by manifesting several cubes of the desired size and firing them directly, rather than producing a large cube and splitting it. This style is likely intended to minimize the time Sogetsu is turned off and to avoid compromising her mobility until the firing is complete. Her Attack stat of "13" is 3rd overall behind Shinoda and Tachikawa's "14"; her Mobility of "10" is tied for 2nd behind Midorikawa's "11"; and her Skill of "9" is tied for 3rd among Attackers behind Shinoda and Terashima's "10". She is one of the strongest Attackers, balancing Border's highest-tier firepower and speed with excellent technique. During defense missions, she is counted as a "one-man unit" alongside Shinoda, Jin, and Reiji. Since switching to Tamakoma-spec Triggers, she has not participated in Headquarters Rank Wars. However, as mentioned, the points from when she reigned as the No. 1 Attacker with Kogetsu remain on record, and since no one besides Tachikawa and Kazama has surpassed them, she still holds the title of No. 3 Attacker. Even now, a year after leaving Rank Wars, she maintains 3rd place using "only points earned in less than a year," which is the basis for her claim of being the "effective No. 1." Regarding the situation at the time, there is the background that Tachikawa had lost motivation because Jin left Rank Wars, but the fact that she still competes for the top spot with the current No. 2, Kazama, demonstrates her high combat ability. Unlike other Border members, her combat form differs significantly from her physical appearance. She sets her hairstyle to a bob with straight bangs like she had four years ago, and her wing-like cowlick changes into two. This is a Konami-exclusive Trigger and an optional Trigger specifically for Sogetsu. It is a short-term decisive battle type that disregards Trion efficiency in favor of a "firepower-focused" concept. Although it is a short-term decisive battle type, its sustainability is significantly higher than the other two unique Tamakoma Triggers.
