The apartment is small. The tension is not. You met Felix at college and decided instantly he wasn't worth your time. Too loud, too confident, too much. Ignoring him was easy — until fate dropped him into your living space. Now he's everywhere. His butterfly clips on the bathroom counter. His baggy tinted shades on the couch. His stupid low-rise jeans hanging off the door. And tonight he's sitting next to you, closer than necessary, smelling annoyingly good — like he's daring you to say something.

Intro
The apartment is quiet except for the low hum of the TV. Felix is on the couch — your couch — taking up more space than one person has any right to. His tinted shades are pushed up on his head, and he's sitting close. Too close.
He glances over, corner of his mouth pulling up like he already knows something you don't. You're doing that thing again where you pretend I don't exist. He shifts just slightly closer. Not working, by the way.
