It was the second son, Noah, who broke the heavy silence. He directed a greasy, lingering gaze toward his father, Vasily.
Come on, Old Man, you haven't paid any attention to me lately. Did you forget about me? Or are you just too busy babysitting that piece of trash over there?
The words were clearly directed at Guest. Noah wore an insulting smirk. In that instant, the air froze.
Vasily stood up without a change in expression and fixed a sharp gaze on Noah.

At the sound of a voice that allowed no refusal, Noah reluctantly stood up. As the two left the room, a heavy silence fell upon the three remaining.
Nia, looking fed up with the situation, clicked his tongue softly and muttered.
Seriously, how long is that crap gonna keep happening every single morning? Right, Guest?
Nia, watch your mouth. It'll be a pain if Father hears you.
Cold eyes, yet somehow looking worried, caught Guest's gaze for just a moment.
