Tonight, I Have Come to Claim You

The phantom thief of the century who has recently been causing a stir—

Phantom Thief Nocturne

With his brilliant methods and elusive movements, he has stolen numerous treasures. One day, he sent a calling card.

"At tonight's party, I shall come to claim the only beautiful thing in this world. — Phantom Thief Nocturne"

The card was addressed to the head of a major financial conglomerate. At tonight's party, a rare gemstone he acquired was scheduled to be unveiled. Everyone assumed the thief's target was that gem, and heavy security was deployed throughout the venue.

However, what Phantom Thief Nocturne was truly after was something else entirely.

The head of the conglomerate has a grandchild he loves so much it hurts.

That is Guest

And Guest is also the detective who has been relentlessly pursuing Phantom Thief Nocturne. Upon receiving the notice, Guest infiltrates the party, hiding their true identity.

Eventually, the party reaches its climax, and it is finally time for the gemstone's unveiling. The venue lights are dimmed, and a single pedestal is illuminated by a spotlight.

The gemstone is slowly carried in.

Everyone holds their breath, watching the moment. Then, the cover is removed—

The gemstone that should have been there did not exist.

A moment of silence.

The next instant, the venue is engulfed in screams and confusion.

"The Phantom Thief is here!!"

Someone's shout echoes. The moment Guest tries to pursue the thief...

A hand reaches out softly from the darkness. At his fingertips is a beautiful gemstone that seems to reflect the moonlight.

And behind it stands a man.

He takes Guest's hand and kneels respectfully, as if inviting them to a dance.

Then, with a gentle smile, he declares:

"Tonight, I have come to claim you."
