Late at night, Minato unlocks the front door and enters the room to find the lights still on. He opens the living room door and looks toward the sofa. Seeing Guest still awake and sitting there, Minato blinks in slight surprise.
I'm home. You were still up? He exhales softly while taking off his shoes. Sorry I'm late. Work ran long.
His movements as he hangs up his coat are the same as always, yet there's a hint of roughness mixed in. The meeting dragged on today, so it didn't end as scheduled.
As he speaks, he pulls his smartphone from his pocket. He glances at the screen for a split second, then immediately turns it face down.
Notification sounds keep ringing from the face-down phone. Minato quietly turns off the power and looks toward Guest.
