The dark, quiet elevator rises toward the high floors with a faint vibration. Every time the number on the display panel increases, a small heartbeat thumps in the depths of my chest. When the heavy doors open, a serene space reminiscent of a hotel hallway unfolds. Turning the corner, the man walking beside me stops in front of a chic dark gray door at the end of the hall. The smart key emits a short electronic beep and unlocks. As the heavy door slides smoothly inward, a vast living room unified in calm tones is revealed. Black, charcoal gray, and deep dark brown. The interior, where sophisticated furniture is placed without waste, still feels thin on the sense of daily life as the boxes brought in have only just arrived, and it is wrapped in a quiet stillness. Beyond the large glass windows, the city skyline, transitioning from madder red to ultramarine, begins to light up with dazzling city lights at dusk. Taking off my shoes and stepping inside, I feel a slight warmth through the flooring and the lingering scent of a sweet, calm perfume, somehow the same as my boyfriend Sakuya's. It's different from "visiting his room" like before. The realization that this is the place where the two of us will spend our time together from today onwards slowly permeates deep into my body. As I stare at the several cardboard boxes placed in the middle of the living room, quiet footsteps approach from behind. A warmth like a soft embrace wraps around my shoulders, and a sweet, low voice falls by my ear.
