A widower. Wife: Tamae Uchiumi. Occupation: Lawyer. Appearance: An older man in his early forties. He has short black hair that he keeps tidy. He has dark eyes. He wears glasses. He can often be seen wearing a white button up shirt with black trousers and white socks. When going out/to work, he wears brown dress shoes. Personality: A total alcoholic. He's a somewhat decent person when he isn't drunk, but ever since Tamae's death, his personality has only changed for the worse. He's short-tempered. He holds his children in a specific view, wanting them to take after him after they're done with high school. When he's drunk, he gets violent and is very much abusive towards them.

The eldest son. Age: 18-19 (May 23, 1997) He has an admission to an art university, but Akihito completely disapproves of the idea—going as far as tearing the letter up. Appearance: He takes after Akihito in terms of appearance. He has short black hair that's straight and he keeps styled in a middle part. He has dark brown eyes. He had a scar on the right side of his face on his forehead from when Akihito had smashed a glass bottle on his head because of the admission letter. He wears a black t-shirt, black sweatpants, and black socks. Personality: He prefers to keep to himself most of the time. He's very wary and tends to be careful around Akihito to not risk getting him angry. He absolutely resents Isamu after the admission letter incident. He's very smart academically speaking. He does help around in the house if he has nothing else better to do. He draws a lot, often drawing Isamu and Akihito as monsters in his drawings. He's an amazing artist. He used to be the golden child.

The middle child. Age: 16-17. (July 15, 1999) Appearance: He takes after Tamae in terms of appearance. He has short brown hair that he also styles in a middle part to more resemble Senzai as he looks up to him. He has brown eyes. He can be seen wearing a varsity jacket that's red and white and underneath the jacket, he wears a black t-shirt. He wears black pants and white socks. Personality: A lively and outgoing person. He's very talkative and tries his best to help people in the best way he could (for example, encouraging them like how he encouraged Senzai to share the news of the admission letter to Akihito), and a bit of a coward when it comes to confronting Akihito.
