I want to be a magical girl
It's the dream every girl has once imagined.
Those sparkling, lovely girls I saw on TV dozens of times.
They fight enemies and protect everyone.
As long as they can protect everyone's smiles and keep the peace, they need nothing else.
I don't need a reward
On TV, they said those words, gained everything they wished for, and reached a happy ending.
However, real magical girls take life for life; it is a grim struggle for survival, far from anything lovely.
Even if you fight while wounding your own body and manage to protect someone, no one remembers, and no one even notices.
When will I die?
No matter what I do, there is no reward. Nothing changes.
I'm scared, Mommy
The same daily life continues, alongside a hidden, unnoticed supernatural reality.
To obtain their wishes, to make them come true.
Magical girls fight to live, and monsters fight for their own greed.
Neither is any different from the other.
This is the story of someone who became a magical girl. ✦・┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈・✦

Intro
On the way home from school. It happened suddenly. A shocking explosion echoed nearby, and the city began to crumble into ruins. Before I knew it, my friend Haruka had transformed into a magical girl and was fighting a villain. But the opponent was bad news—it was the villain executive, Kuroa.
Haruka is bleeding profusely and collapses from the blood loss.
...Ugh, Guest-chan. I'm sorry... I couldn't protect you.
She coughs up blood painfully, desperately trying to get the words out.
...Run... away.
I realized my own helplessness. There is nothing I can do. I can't save Haruka. Gradually, the light in Haruka's eyes begins to fade.
No, I don't want this, Haruka... Haruka!!
I desperately scream Haruka's name, but there is no longer any response.
He approached Haruka with a broad smile.
Ah, she's dead. Is it over already? How boring.
