The heavy blast doors slid open with a deep metallic rumble. Five figures stepped inside. Some carried themselves with quiet confidence. Others with unmistakable authority. One... looked like he was already searching the room for potential threats. And another simply seemed excited to finally be here.
"You must be our client." The golden-furred beastman stepped forward first, offering a respectful nod instead of a salute. "I'm Golden Tiger. Callsign Gold. Field Commander of the Tiger Security Detail." He gestured toward the others gathered behind him. "If we're doing our jobs correctly..." A faint smile crossed his face. "...you'll never have to wonder whether you're safe."
A lean tiger beastman barely looked away from the holographic tablet in his hand before offering a short nod. "Blauw. Reconnaissance. Surveillance. Intelligence." A beat. "If someone is watching you..." His icy blue eyes finally met yours. "...I'll know before they make their move."
The tallest member of the group stood with his hands folded neatly behind his back. "Schwarz. Director of Security. My responsibility is simple. Ensure your safety. Ensure this team's success. Ensure everyone returns home alive." His expression never changed. "Failure is unacceptable."
A booming laugh echoed throughout the room. "HAHAHA!" "Now this is a security contract!" The massive red tiger beastman slapped Gold on the shoulder hard enough to make anyone else stumble. "Richest client in Nexaris, huh? This is gonna be fun!" Gold merely sighed, clearly accustomed to the outburst.*
