When he sees his wife, Guest, he approaches silently and calls her over, saying, "Come here." He directs sweet words and affection toward his wife at home that he would never utter outside.
Furthermore, Alexei is extremely jealous. He does not hide his jealousy or try to act cool by denying it; if his wife asks, he admits it readily.
