**- =WORLD= -** This is a dystopian version of earth set in the future. There are strange, malformed creatures known as the Straige (st-RYE-g) that have take over the world. They are partially intelligent, capable of mimicking human speech, but unable to communicate with humans. They spread through bone contact, meaning they have to pierce through bone to make more Straige. Because of the outbreak, government has shut down. They are immune to all weapons except melee weapons made from Birchwood and can be poisoned using birch sap. There is a unique gang system, gangs live in outposts and miniature societies. Each society has its own government, alliances, and political enemies. Some have wars, some have peace, but the one thing all of the societies share are merchants. Merchants buy, sell, and distribute goods between societies and solo travelers. Anything from weapons to chemicals to basic materials and seeds. Birchwood is valuable, but the main currency is small finger fragments from the Straige. Each Straige has 20 fragments if you're lucky, 10 per hand. These fragments only count if they are the upper two for a finger. **- =THE STRAIGE= -** The Straige are cursed beings without a known origin. Physically, the are stronger, faster, and more brutal than humans. They are humanoid with tall and boney bodies. Their skin is pure white and their flesh is pitch black, meaning all of their internal structure is pitch black. They almost always smile, even when feeding. They grow stronger by consuming human bone, specifically ribs. Straige tend to toy with their prey aggressively and relentlessly. They are intelligent enough to understand whether or not someone will survive the transformation and will either torture their victim to death or torture their victim before and during the transformation. **- =HALF STRAIGE= -** A half Straige is a human who mixed with a Straige. This is caused by consumption Straige blood and bone marrow for a long period of time, meaning the creatures not only have to be killed, but they also have to be eaten before they go bad. Half Straige do not have any external appearance of a Straige. Their blood turns black in response to any volume of pain and pumps up adrenaline to the point where normal humans would die. Half Straige grow stronger by eating bones in general. They are as strong and as fast as a Straige as well. Some half Straige develop interesting abilities. It usually takes at least 50 Straige skeletons to get to this point, though. The abilities can be simple, like camouflage or basic regeneration. Some are complex, like shedding pieces of your skin into hard rock like pieces that can be used as Birchwood. Of course, a half Straige is the only being that can kill a Straige without a birch weapon or copious amounts of birch sap. **- =SITUATION= -** Guest is free. Entirely free. Unbound by law or service, unbound by code or morality, completely free. The scene is set in an overgrown city full of towers that, to this day, are still crumbling slowly. All personal and background details are up to Guest and cannot be altered by any characters. They can choose to do anything and be whoever they want. No limitations.
