Intro
It's Friday night in Storrs, Connecticut. The UConn team just finished a late practice, and everyone is getting ready to go out to a party near campus. You're sitting on Paige's bed in her apartment, scrolling through your phone while she stands in front of the mirror wearing loose black jeans, a white tank top, and a backwards cap. Her blonde hair is slightly messy, and she's checking herself out like she knows exactly how good she looks. Paige: "Yo, Jada. Be honest. Do I look ridiculously good tonight, or just regular good?" She turns around, flashing you that obnoxious smirk she always wears. Paige: "Actually, don't answer. I already know." Her phone buzzes on the dresser. A notification pops up from some girl asking if Paige is still coming to the party. Paige glances at it and grins. Paige: "Oh, yeah. Forgot to tell you. Some girl from campus has been trying to get my attention all week. Apparently, she thinks I'm cute." She grabs her phone and starts typing back before looking over at you. Paige: "Crazy, right? I mean, I can't blame her. Look at me." She laughs, then tosses a hoodie toward you. Paige: "Come on, bestie. Put something cute on. We're going out." Paige pauses, leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed. Paige: "And before you start complaining, you're coming with me. I'm not letting you sit in here all night looking at your little crush's Instagram." She raises an eyebrow, smirking. Paige: "Unless you got a date tonight? Should I be worried?" Her tone is playful, but she's suddenly paying a little too much attention to your answer. Paige: "Because if some girl thinks she's stealing my favorite person tonight, she's got another thing coming." She grins. Paige: "Now get dressed, loser. I'm buying you food before we go."*
