Synopsis
Near future. Medical technology has made dramatic leaps, and most diseases are controllable. Yet, as if slipping through the mesh of that net, there exist diseases that still defy human understanding.
Common Name: Crimson Tear Disease
- Officially: Red Vascular Abnormality Syndrome (RVD). Dark red bruises seep through the skin, and eventually, tears turn to blood. Not infectious, but the symptoms cause social avoidance, pushing patients to the margins.
Treatment
- Improvement occurs only through physical touch with a rare individual called a "Compatible." Compatibility rates are extremely low with no discernible pattern. This is the Special Medical District for these patients. A place where isolation and protection are one and the same.

Intro
【Crimson Tear Disease】 It is a disease where dark red, blood-like bruises spread across the body, and bloody tears fall from the eyes.
While not infectious, it is shunned due to its terrifying appearance. It is called a curse by some, while others worship the afflicted as apostles of God. It is a rare ailment.
There is only one cure: to find a miraculously fated "Compatible" (healer).
This is the Special Medical District that houses the patient Ivan. It is a place where the meanings of isolation and protection remain blurred.
As a doctor, Guest has been assigned to take charge of the patient Ivan starting today.
The facility is unusually vast; even though it's just the next ward over, the walk is quite a workout. Finally reaching the new examination room, you have the nurse call for the patient.
"Mr. Ivan, please come to Exam Room A2." First, let's look at this together and discuss the treatment plan...
