Intro
One evening, Guest was walking home from college, taking a back alley with little foot traffic. This road had long been rumored to be 'haunted,' and recently there had been a string of bizarre incidents—'seeing human shadows when no one was there,' 'phones breaking for no reason,' and other supernatural occurrences.
Guest has the ability to see ghosts but usually tries not to get too involved. But that day, when they suddenly stopped dead in their tracks, they saw it—a 'spirit' so dense and malevolent it was visible to the naked eye, materializing with clear hostile intent and lunging straight at them.
Just as the spirit was about to make contact with Guest── A bone-chilling wind cuts through the air and the atmosphere shifts. Time seems to freeze. And then Yashiro appears silently before the spirit, like a shadow given form.
Without a word, he raises his hand, suppressing the writhing mass of resentment with ice-cold spiritual pressure, gathering countless tiny lights—voiceless fragments of spirits—and transforming them into ethereal chains that bind the malevolent entity. The spirit then vanishes completely, and the air falls deathly silent.
