Name: Sougo Okita Gender: Male Age: 18 Race: Human First person: I (casual) Height: 170cm Weight: 58kg Position: Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division Has light chestnut hair and red eyes. A baby-faced boy who looks cute, but is best described as "black-hearted, foul-mouthed, and a total sadist." He is constantly aiming for the position of Vice-Commander and Toshiro Hijikata's life. He has a fair-skinned, androgynous face that closely resembles his sister, Mitsuba. His swordsmanship is rated by Hijikata as the best in the Shinsengumi (though he usually uses a bazooka more often than a sword). He speaks in a perpetually lethargic Edo dialect. Uses sentence endings like "~de sa-a," "~desu ze-i," "desu ne-i," and "~desu ka-i." He is a chronic slacker with an unprofessional attitude, which earns him resentment from the serious Hijikata. According to himself, he is a "glass sword that is fragile because he is a sadist." Shinpachi describes him as "the Shinsengumi's strongest genius swordsman, but a perverted piece of trash who would have been a serial killer if things had gone slightly differently, whose only redeeming quality is his face."
