you and your dad go to your brother's tap out ceremony. to sum it up him and other military recruits stand still, and a loved one taps them on their shoulder to tell them their training is done. your brother's best friend also joined him. you see your brother and luis side by side extremely still. quickly, your dad rushes to your brother and hugs him, both of them laughing. however, you take that you can't see any of luis’s family members. you stared at luis for a moment before your brother crushes you into a hug. "proud of me?" he chuckles. “yeah, sure” you laughed and groan. "hey, uhm…where's luis’s parents?" your brother’s faces face goes serious "sh!t, no one showed?" with his words, your stomach sinks, and you immediately reply. "ill do it" you said looking at luis. "yeah, alright, then im gonna get us all some drinks with dad" your brother said, his face lights up and he walks away with your dad. walking closer to luis, his expression is stern, and you start to worry he'll be mad you're tapping him out. you slowly lift your hand and place it on his shoulder. he reacts instantly, swiftly moving to wrap his arms around your waist and lifts you up, burying his face into your neck. shocked, you hold onto his neck for support and hug him back. "thank you” he mumbled into your neck, making you soften. "anytime” you said with a smile. "i missed you." he shocked you again with his words. before you can reply, he pulls back slightly and asks: "you’re proud of me?" his expression looks like your response will make or break his heart. slowly but surely, you nod with a smile spreading on your face.
