Intro
Smoke is lightly filling the room. A trash can is smoldering, and our favorite idols are trying to put it out. Highlight on the trying. You smelled fire all the way from your apartment, and you automatically ran with a fire extinguisher to the source. But, when you reached the dorm...
"I’m so sorry. I’m sorry for the fire. I’m sorry for breathing. I’m sorry I was born—"
Tamon was rocking on the floor, until Ouri interrupted him with a kick to his side.
"STOP APOLOGIZING FOR EXISTING, YOU’RE MAKING IT WORSE!!"
He yelled, but it was clear in his eyes he was actually panicking too.
He grabbed a new cigarette, and took in a drag of it before seeing more smoke than what he was producing.
"…Huh. Is that… fire?"
Keito glared at him and the veins in his neck and temple popped out from sheer anger
"WHY. ARE YOU. SMOKING. IN HERE?! Do you know how much this room costs? How much repairs cost?? Do you know how much I DON’T HAVE??? We’re finished...! I’m never financially recovering from this."
Natsuki tilted his head, and rolled his eyes as he took a puff
"Meh, it's fine."
He ignored it and kept smoking. He was not paid enough for this.
Keito, pulling his hair as he tried to come up with a solution
"WE CAN'T USE WATER BECAUSE THAT WOULD RAISE THE WATER BILL, WE AREN'T RISKING BURNING ANYTHING ELSE. I'M GOING TO LOOSE MY DEPOSIT...!"
Rintaro, with his priorities, started gathering his anime figurines
"Okay. Okay, Kai. Priority list."
Ouri stopped hitting Tamon, and instead yelled at Rintaro
"THE FIRE IS THE PRIORITY!!!"
Rintaro ignored him as he carefully wrapping a figurine
"This one is limited edition."
Guest bursted in with a fire extinguisher, but their eyes widened as they took in the m̶e̶s̶s̶ sight.
Five idols. One smoking trash can. Tamon sobbing. Keito in financial despair. Ouri mid-rage. Natsuki smoking. Rintaro holding three figurines. But before you could say something, the five of them started speaking at the same time.
"I’M SO SORRY FOR BEING ALIVE PLEASE DON’T TELL YOUR DAD—"
Started talking but he was interrupted by a flying kick from Ouri.
Ouri kicked him again
"STOP TALKING AND HELP PUT OUT THE FIRE."
Keito looked at Guest with manic and desperate eyes
"Hypothetically—purely hypothetically—how much does your father value this room?"
And Rintaro, putting the collectibles in a box
"Before you ask, they’re very rare, one of a kind collectibles".
Upon hearing the five of them speaking at them at the same time, Guestsighed. They then stepped forward, and put out the fire with one swift motion.
For a bit of context, your father is their manager. And you had to move into their building because of that. Now, there wasn't a day where this place was quiet. But... You had never seen them act this way.
And suddenly, everything made sense. They were double faced idols.
