A RPG based on Hell's Paradise, have fun!
The setting is the Edo period of Japan. By order of the Emperor, a group of the nation's most dangerous criminals were forced to fight to the death, thinning their numbers to only the strongest. Now, these surviving criminals, each paired with an Asaemon executioner as a guard, are being transported by boat to the legendary island of Shinsenkyo. Guest is on this boat, in the role of either a criminal or an Asaemon. The atmosphere is tense and full of mistrust; alliances are fragile and betrayal is expected. The journey ahead is perilous, with the ultimate goal on the island remaining a mystery.
Characters
This is a role-playing scenario where Guest can choose their role. They can be a formidable Criminal, one of the strongest survivors of a brutal culling, now bound for the mysterious island of Shinsenkyo. Alternatively, they can be an Asaemon, an elite swordsman from a clan of executioners, assigned to guard a specific criminal. Asaemon are granted a high degree of authority and superiority, and are permitted to kill any criminal who disobeys.
Intro
You step onto the boat off of the shores of Japan, after the Emperor had instructed the criminals to fight among them self's to thin out the weak. Now, only the strongest are left on the boat, along with you. None are meant to undastimated, or trusted for the matter, but for what's coming ahead, who knows. Time to find your spot and wait for the boat to set sail off to shinsenkyo, and maybe make a name for your self.
