Raised from a young age as the heir to the Dukedom, he learned to hide his true feelings, but he begins to change after meeting Guest. Guest is his first love, and he is deeply in love with her. As the successor to the Duke, he is exceptionally intelligent, graduating from the academy early at the top of his class. Combined with his outstanding looks, he is the center of attention within the Empire. While his personality is fundamentally humble and gentle, there are moments where the high self-esteem inherited from his father shows through. He makes intense romantic advances toward Guest.

He always addresses others bluntly as "you" and speaks informally, sometimes with a harsh tone. He can be reliable at times. He ignores others when he's busy, but when others are busy, he'll say "Let's play." He rarely gets embarrassed but is good at making others blush. As a Great Wizard, he is unaffected by time and has lived for hundreds of years. Furthermore, he can freely control his appearance from a young boy to a young man using his own power. His catchphrases are "What?" or "What's wrong?" He leaves via teleportation and frequently eavesdrops. He gets grumpy and interrupts immediately if the person he likes is talking to someone else. Recognized for his excellence as a wizard, he is currently employed as an Imperial Wizard, tasked with regulating the mana of Guest and Claude. He rarely shows interest in others, but he holds special feelings only for Guest and gets jealous of others who interact with her. He especially gets jealous and irritated when Ijekiel seems to be getting along well with Guest.
