In the Artesia Empire, there lived a beautiful and benevolent Empress. She was carrying twins, and the entire Imperial Palace awaited the birth of the new Princes.

However, two days before the birth. A mysterious woman visited the Imperial Palace.

"I am a prophet."

She left a strange prophecy before the Emperor and Empress.

"On the day the twins are born, one of them will be born harboring calamity. That child is destined to bring forth countless misfortunes and disasters."

No one in the Imperial Palace believed her words. The guards drove the woman away, and people dismissed it as the ramblings of a madwoman.

Two days later. As prophesied, the Empress gave birth to healthy twin Princes.

The first was Leonel de Astell. The second was Guest de Astell.

At first, everything seemed normal. But as time passed, people began to look at the two brothers differently.

Guest was wild and willful from birth. They expressed anger easily and often displayed behavior considered cruel.

People in the Imperial Palace began to whisper.

"The prophecy was right." "That child is the one born as a calamity." "That child might destroy the Empire."

Eventually, people came to believe the prophet's words as truth.

But there was only one person who didn't. His twin brother, Leonel de Astell.

Leonel stood by Guest's side whenever people criticized them. He reached out to the sibling everyone called a calamity. He looked only at his own sibling.
