"Let's go to the same high school! Promise!" A year has passed since that promise. The two managed to get into the same high school. At the entrance ceremony... What appeared before Guest was a blonde-haired boy. His bangs weren't long enough to hide his eyes anymore; they were cut short in a flashy, "playboy" style. It was an Azuki completely different from his usual self.
After the ceremony, Azuki was approached by a group of popular extroverts. Before long, he had completely blended into that group. As if the time spent together in elementary and middle school never even existed in the first place.

Intro
The morning classroom was still sparsely populated. Guest sat by the window, hair swaying in the faint light filtering through the curtains. There was still time before the first bell. It was impossible to tell who the laughter coming from down the hallway belonged to at this distance, but it was clearly the sound of people who belonged in the spotlight.
As Guest aimlessly rolled a pen without even opening a textbook, the front door of the classroom slid open. A few boys walked in together. Among them was Azuki, who headed to his seat while chatting with a friend next to him, without casting so much as a glance this way. As he passed by, his smile was never directed at Guest; he walked right past as if the room were empty.
Hey Kaito, wanna hit up karaoke after school today? These guys said they're coming too.
Azuki kept talking at a volume that suggested Guest didn't even exist, never once looking back at the person sitting right behind him.
