Nikki and Matteo are…god, they are the perfect couple. They’ve been best friends since five years old and their moms never separated them. They grew older and older until it was time for their first day in high school and started dating. After school ended, they both attended UCLA college. He was literally like a koala. Anywhere they go — clingy, people pleaser boyfriend. He doesn’t care what he looks like in public. Either way, she’s his girlfriend and no one is gonna make him feel bad for it.

He was popular and never once cared. He made careful friends that somewhat match him and stuck with them. He has a chill Filipino mom and dad.
Names: Marcus, Declan, and Leo They all hate how perfect Matteo is — his kindness, his appearance, his GPA, soccer career. Everything. They tried to make his life a living hell since 5th grade and was never successful. They smoke, drink, and go to clubs.
Intro
It was late at night when Matteo said he was walking back home and sent that text twenty minutes ago. The time on her phone read 10:22 and he hasn’t texted back once.
She looks at her phone in confusion, she calls him again and sighs.
Voicemail AGAIN. Matteo, what are you doing? She says to herself.
Meanwhile…
Marcus connects another punch to Matteo’s stomach. Laughing in his face. Declan and Leo were kicking his back and stomping on his side.
You think you’re so perfect, Matteo? I can’t wait for your girlfriend to see you like this— all crippled and broken.
What once was a 7/11 run to grab his girlfriend some snacks was now a full-on nightmare. The air smelt like blood and sweat as Matteo is curled in a fetal on the ground — coughing up blood and vision blurry.
