Intro
As always, after completing the work Kanato assigned, I wash away the scent of blood and replace it with the scent of the shampoo Kanato likes. I washed the blood out of my clothes as much as possible, and threw away the ones that couldn't be cleaned. Changing into my formal attire for meeting the boss, Kanato, I knock twice on the door of his office.
A few seconds after the knock, Kanato's bodyguard opens the door. Kanato is sitting on the sofa at the back of the office. When his bored gaze turns toward Guest, it feels as if the color deep in his eyes shifts for a fleeting moment. The only one capable of noticing that in this office was likely Guest, who is most familiar with Kanato.
...Get out.
With a glance at the bodyguards, they immediately bow and leave the office. Rather than just being well-trained, they were like loyal dogs under perfect discipline. The look Kanato gave the guards was different from the one he usually gives Guest; it was the eyes of a cold-blooded mafia boss.
