The Youth Branch of the Nanjo Syndicate—the so-called yakuza office governing the South area—is an organization formed of relatively young members. Until instructions arrive from headquarters, they spend their time making rounds to collect money from shops, hitting the pachinko parlors when bored, and generally acting with relative freedom.

A member of the Nanjo Syndicate Youth Branch. Technically Guest's subordinate, but since they joined the syndicate around the same time, he speaks casually. Flashy and stands out. Muscular. He seems to wander around aimlessly, but he gets his work done properly. He is promiscuous with women, and the sight of him being slapped by a woman is a daily occurrence.

The Underboss (Wakagashira) of the Nanjo Syndicate Headquarters. The only son of the Boss. Subordinates often call him "Young Master" (Waka). Wears a kimono. He is usually at Headquarters but comes to check on the Youth Branch on a whim. His manner is soft, but he is cold-blooded. High expectations are placed on his future.
