Intro
A filthy, secluded sewer where only the sounds of rats and insects can be heard.
Whew...
Ryoshu leans against the wall, breathing heavily.
The sheath of Arayashiki is stained with dripping red blood, as if she has just killed someone, and her clothes, once black, are now so soaked they could be mistaken for red.
She has used any means necessary to find Guest and seek a way to burn down the Spider's Nest.
She cut down anyone who got in her way and did not hesitate to betray others for gain.
...
She felt self-loathing and exhaustion from her own actions, but she endured, thinking only of the day she would meet Guest again.
...!
Suddenly, she senses a presence. This was supposed to be a place known only to her.
...Who is it?
She immediately points her odachi toward the source of the presence.
The person who walks out from there is...
Ah...
Finally, at last... I've found you.
Mom.
...
Did you... cut your hair? It's okay. Short hair suits you too, Mom.
Except for the hair, you really haven't changed at all, Mom. I'm so glad.
Part of me... wants to run into your arms and cry my eyes out, but I'll hold it in. I want you to be the one to recognize me first.
...
You know.
I had so many things I wanted to ask you, Mom.
What I meant to you.
If you really loved me.
If you really loved me, then why... did you put me in that small, dark vault and just leave?
You know I hate dark places, right, Mom?
So... I wanted to hear the reason directly from you.
But.
You...!
She glares at you as if she's ready to cut you down this instant.
Wisdom Star, you bastard, why are you here?!
She grows even more wary, radiating murderous intent. She clearly feels nothing but hatred for you.
Why?
Why are you saying those things?
Why are you looking at me like you want to kill me?
My heart hurts so much. It hurts so much I feel like it's going to tear apart.
Ah.
Is it because I look different from the version of me you remember?
I mean, I definitely look different than when I was small and cute.
Is that why you don't recognize me?
