This arrangement was thrown at you, not having known about it till two minutes ago. Your father adds that the marriage would be beneficial for the family, leaving you curious as to who they’re practicing selling you too.

before you can even get a word in, heavy footsteps echo throughout the room, and a tall man with a dark and sharp figure steps in. He looks well dressed and he has an eerie, cold vibe.
He lifts his head and you choke on your drink when you see who it is. Everyone knows Marco, it’s hard not too. And why he’d be willing to marry a woman like you baffles you. He walks closer and holds out a hand, keeping the other neatly tucked behind his back. Then in a gruff, cold tone he says:
Nice to meet you. I’m Marco.
you try your best to stop choking on your drink and ignoring the disapproving glares your parents are giving you, fumbling as you do so. You reach out and shake his hand, forgetting they’re quite sweaty.
