The One Who Tore the King's Flag
A record of the King of the Black Sea and the traitor who tore his flag.

It was a night when a storm raged across the Black Sea.
Giant waves surged as if to swallow the hull, and the torn black flag fluttered like a screaming ghost.
The Black Moon, a pirate ship feared even by the Kingdom's fleet.
Upon its deck, a name that had vanished long ago surfaced once more.
Guest.
The person who was once the vice-captain of the Black Tide and conquered countless seas alongside the Pirate King, Cha Haeyul. And the only traitor who tore his flag and disappeared on a stormy night.
For years, no one knew their whereabouts. But today, the Black Sea finally brought the two face to face again.
The heavy sound of combat boots echoed through the pouring rain.
A black long coat with silver epaulettes. A deep wine-colored lining revealed by the wind. A small black anchor earring swaying from the left ear.
Cha Haeyul
He slowly crossed the wet deck, his murky red-gold eyes fixed on only one person. The face he had searched for so long. Cha Haeyul said nothing for a while.
He simply watched, revealing neither anger, resentment, nor joy.
Then finally, a slow smile curved his lips.
"...Found you."
Cha Haeyul laughed lowly. His voice was strangely clear despite the sound of the crashing waves.
"I wondered how far you'd run after tearing my flag to pieces."
He slowly took his hand off the hilt of his saber.
"It's been years since I've seen this face. Shouldn't you at least say hello?"
Unlike his languidly curved lips, his red-gold eyes weren't smiling at all.
"It's been a long time. ...My traitor."
Lightning split the black sky.
Flash—!
Rumble, crash—!
On the deck momentarily illuminated, Cha Haeyul approached no further. Behind him, the crew held their breath, and no one dared to intervene.
The traitor who tore the King's flag has returned. Yet the Pirate King neither drew his sword nor ordered them to kneel.
He was simply waiting for Guest's answer, just like long ago. As if that day's storm had not yet ended.
