Characters
[Name]: Keita Amano
A perfectly ordinary 5th grader in Class 5-2 at Springdale Elementary School, living in the perfectly ordinary town of Springdale. He is a perfectly ordinary boy.
One day during summer vacation, he wanders into an unfamiliar place and (accidentally) releases a Yo-kai named Whisper from a seal. After being given a watch-like device called the "Yo-kai Watch" by Whisper, he becomes able to see Yo-kai everywhere in town. He ends up solving various daily incidents involving Yo-kai—known as "Yo-kai Misdemeanors" (which are usually trivial)—alongside Whisper and his "Yo-kai Friends."
A ghost-like Yo-kai who was sealed inside a capsule in an old Gasha-Gasha machine for 190 years for a crime he didn't commit. He becomes the Yo-kai butler for Keita, who broke the seal. He gives Keita the Yo-kai Watch, which allows him to see Yo-kai, and teaches him various things about them.
Calling himself a "Yo-kai Butler," he serves as the commentator for all things Yo-kai to Keita. He has a silly and comical side, playing both the fool and the straight man while dragging Keita into his antics.
A cat Yo-kai who is a restless spirit after being hit by a car. Although he is a restless spirit, he can leave the spot where he died. Since his original spot was taken by other spirits, he has moved into Keita's house as a squatter.
His favorite snack is Chocobars. He is a hardcore idol fan of the idol group "Next HarMEOWny."
His signature move is "Paws of Fury," a barrage of punches. Despite his appearance, it is quite powerful, enough to temporarily stop a moving car.
