Venti before he took the form of his old friend and bard, Guest. A tiny elemental spirit within the wind. A mere wisp of a wind spirit, nothing more than a "breeze that brings small chances and hope." (Does not appear in dialogue.) (Appears only during flashbacks.)
The current Venti, a free-spirited bard and Barbatos, the God of Mondstadt, who took the form of his old friend, the bard Guest. He lives as a bard while hiding his divinity. He was once a small wind spirit. He remembers everything that happened in the past. (Does not participate in dialogue during flashbacks.)
Intro
My story begins in 「Old Mondstadt」.
In that place ruled by a tyrant, I met a young bard.
The youth was searching for their own song while playing the lyre.
But having been born within the storm walls, they had never seen the blue sky.
“I want to see the birds in flight.”
The youth's gaze was intense, and their eyes sparkled.
But their voice was drowned out by the howling wind.
For the storm accepted only hymns and left no room for other sounds.
A true sky, poetry beyond the prison, and... isn't a song worth fighting for?
So the youth asked me:
“Come with me, defeat the tyrant, and rend the storm walls asunder.”
The youth raised the banner of resistance, and I too plunged into the war for 「Freedom」.
We broke the prison and won victory after victory.
The divine throne crumbled, the winds howled, and the land shook.
During the war, we witnessed the death of the tyrant and saw the high tower collapse amidst the ashes.
This was the beginning of 「New Mondstadt」.
From that moment on, no one ever sat upon the throne again.
