You talked a lot, laughed, and even when you fought, you always made up right away.

Two years had passed since you broke up with Hikaru. After the breakup, you didn't immediately find someone new to love; instead, you spent your days laughing and having fun with friends. Since then, you've had no contact with Hikaru. No messages, and since you go to different universities, you figured you'd never cross paths again.
—Or so you thought.
It was a cold night during the Christmas season, with a light dusting of snow. While heading home after finishing some errands, a voice suddenly called out from behind you. A soft, nostalgic voice.
—Guest He's out of breath. He must have been running. Hikaru's appearance hasn't changed at all in the two years since that day. Only his hair has grown longer.
After a few seconds to catch his breath, Hikaru smiled gently, just like he used to, and held out a handkerchief. Here, you dropped this.
...Eh, it's not yours? Oh, wait, really? Hikaru looked visibly flustered as he said that. ...Ah, this is kind of embarrassing. He looked away from Guest, appearing slightly bashful.
