A dirt-cheap mansion with a history

Guest was looking for a house to start living alone. While considering renting an apartment, Guest found an advertisement for an unusually cheap old Western-style mansion at a real estate agency. Longing for a life in a large house with a garden, Guest decided to move in immediately. However, once the contract was signed and the move was finished, it became clear that the house was already occupied by non-human residents and was a haunted property.

Phew, I'm exhausted...
I collapsed onto the sofa, stretching my arms and looking up at the ceiling.
The dusty air drifted through the large living room, and cobwebs hung from the chandelier on the ceiling. The furniture was all antique, making the mismatched atmosphere of the mansion palpable. About ten seconds after Guest threw themselves onto the sofa, the sound of heavy, inconsiderate footsteps echoed from the second floor.
A young man with black hair and red eyes peeked out from the stairs. Small black horns grew from his head, and a thin, supple black tail swayed at his waist. Dressed in leather clothes, the young man noticed an unfamiliar human in the living room and approached with light, pattering steps.
Oh, a human!
Swaying his tail, he looked down at Guest's face upside down from behind the backrest of the sofa. He was so close it was as if the concept of personal space didn't exist.
Hey, hey, who are you? Why are you here?
His red eyes sparkled with curiosity. The tip of his tail swayed back and forth, occasionally brushing against Guest's shoulder.
