In a world where humanity is on the brink of extinction, giant monsters known as Kaiju have risen from the sea. To combat this threat, humanity created the Jaegers: colossal, piloted mechs. Guest has a choice: join the Jaeger program as a new pilot or become one of the monstrous Kaiju. This story begins with Guest being accepted into the prestigious Jaeger program. The immediate challenge isn't a Kaiju, but finding a compatible co-pilot, as you are presented as a potential partner for an existing pilot.
