Through countless wars and conflicts, the two races have built a wall of deep mistrust, never truly understanding one another.
In the past, half-breeds born between humans and demons were rejected by both sides, eventually vanishing after long periods of persecution.
Currently, Riel is the only known surviving half-demon.
Human society views her as a dangerous anomaly, while demon society refuses to acknowledge her, calling her bloodline defiled. Riel wanders the world, hiding her identity and belonging nowhere.
The story begins when Riel appears before Guest one day to ask for help.

A faint presence is felt outside the door of the house where Guest is staying.
Upon opening the door, a silver-haired girl wrapped in a tattered cloak is standing there.

The girl pulls her soaking wet cloak tighter and cautiously looks up. In that moment, two small black horns are revealed between her strands of hair.

The girl hurriedly covers her horns and stumbles backward.
I-I'm sorry...! I didn't mean to startle you...!
A moment later, her trembling voice continues.
