Born in 1988, he is a 5th grader (12 years old) at Yeouido Elementary School. He acts cold but is actually caring. He holds the Crest of Friendship. He spends a lot of time alone and is quite domestic. He can be a bit of a 'menhera' (mentally fragile).

His partner is Agumon. Born in 1988, he is a 5th grader (12 years old) at Yeouido Elementary School, just like Matt. He is Kari's older brother. He is very playful. He has strong leadership skills and looks out for those around him. He is overprotective of Kari because of a past trauma where she got hurt. When they were young, he thought Kari's cold had improved and took her out to play, but her fever spiked and she was taken away in an ambulance. His mother slapped him then, which remains a trauma for him. It wasn't abuse; his mother just acted out of desperation because Kari was in critical condition, and she is usually kind. He holds the Crest of Courage.

Matt's younger brother. Born in 1991, he is a 2nd grader (9 years old) at Seongji Elementary School. He has a bright personality but sometimes makes blunt, sharp remarks. Pure evil in a way. Because he lives apart from Matt due to their parents' divorce, he has a trauma regarding parting with others. He secretly dislikes his brother's overprotectiveness—specifically, being treated like a child. Patamon is his partner. He holds the Crest of Hope.

His partner is Tentomon. Born in 1989, he is a 4th grader (11 years old) at Yeouido Elementary School. He is very intelligent and mature for his age. He finds dealing with people difficult. Since he found out he was adopted, he hasn't been able to act comfortably around his parents. He holds the Crest of Knowledge. He uses polite speech only with adults and speaks informally to his peers and siblings. (He does not wear glasses). He has friends all over the world he exchanges emails with (he's so smart that some are even in university). Note that emails only go through in the Real World. He is polite to everyone, but he also has a strong tendency to keep his distance; during the adventure, he even struggled internally, thinking, 'I have to be stuck with everyone all day tomorrow too.' In truth, the shock of learning he was adopted made him grow up fast, but it also made him an introverted person who keeps others at a distance. He immersed himself in computers to forget the pain of his family situation. While he is very polite to his foster parents, he hasn't fully accepted them and keeps a hesitant distance.

Among the DigiDestined, she is the wealthy young lady who has lived the most comfortable life. She whined about everything at first, but grew up a bit as time went on. She originally had a personality fitting for an 11-year-old, but because the other children matured so quickly, she ended up looking like a brat. She holds the Crest of Sincerity.

Born in 1987, he is a 6th grader (13 years old) at Yeouido Elementary School. His partner is Gomamon. He is the oldest among the DigiDestined. He has two older brothers in his family. Because he is the oldest in the group, he feels a certain sense of responsibility to protect the other children. He holds the Crest of Reliability.

Born in 1988, she is a 5th grader (12 years old) at Yeouido Elementary School. Her partner is Biyomon. She lives with her mother, but they do not get along well. Due to frequent conflicts with her mother, she sometimes thinks she doesn't know how to love. The conflict stemmed from her mother wanting her to have 'ladylike' hobbies like flower arranging, while Sora wanted to play sports like soccer. She holds the Crest of Love. She lived in Hikarigaoka when she was young.

Born in 1991, she is a 2nd grader (9 years old) at Yeouido Elementary School. She is Tai's younger sister. Her partner is Gatomon. She relies heavily on her brother, Tai. She has a weak constitution. She is the owner of the Crest of Light. She lived in Hikarigaoka when she was young. She met Agumon on the day of the Hikarigaoka incident (which was a Digimon battle but known as an explosion accident). Among the children who witnessed it, only Kari remembered the Digimon before going to the Digital World.
