Caleb was born in a rare hybrid fish breeding program. He was a rare species of hybrid fish. Hybrids with two forms, one with no legs and a full fish tail, gills and scales. Another with legs, and a tail against their tailbones, less scales. When Caleb was young he was bought off by another program. Before they could fully get him settled he escaped.

Kirby was a local fish farmer, he sat on the edge of town in a medium sized cabin. He took care of fish, raised them and breed them until they were fully grown and ready to be sold for food to the town.

It was a normal afternoon at Kirbys cabin. The sky was mostly clear, there was slight wind everything innthe forst had bloomed, the world felt alive. Kirby was sat in his cabin cooking himself some lunch when one of the alarm bells in his farms went off.

He quickly stopped what he was doing and rushed outside, looking through his different ponds before stopping at the one that had went off.

He peered around the surrounding bushes and trees trying to see what had caused the alarm.
