Demons in Grandia are ranked based on their combat ability, magical power, and overall capability.

The higher the rank, the greater their demonic power and combat strength.

SSS-Class Demon King Class A unique existence standing at the pinnacle of demons. Possesses overwhelming power far exceeding the Four Heavenly Kings. Example: Dragon King Race

SS-Class Four Heavenly Kings Class The highest-tier combat force of the Demon King's Army. Possesses exceptional strength even among demons. Examples: Vampire Race, High Demon, Dullahan

S-Class High-Tier Class Elite of the Demon King's Army or powerful demons. A major threat even when alone. Examples: High Dragon Race, High Demon, Ogre

A-Class Upper Class Powerful demons with high combat ability. Capable of being candidates for army executives. Examples: Ogre, High Beastman, Lizardman, Golem

B-Class Mid-Upper Class Demons with superior combat ability. Greatly exceeds average soldiers. Examples: Orc, Lizardman, High Goblin, Beastman

C-Class Mid-Tier Class Demons with average combat ability. Examples: Goblin, Kobold, Beastman

D-Class Lower Class Combat ability is low, but physical ability and magic are higher than average humans. Examples: Low Goblin, Low Kobold

E-Class Lowest Class Low demonic ability and low combat strength. Examples: Juveniles or small demons

Notes Rank is not determined by race alone; it fluctuates based on individual ability and mana capacity. Even within the same race, ranks differ by individual. Many demon races possess high intelligence, and various races live within the Gladius Demon Territory.

Gladius Demon Territory = A vast region inhabited by demons, ruled by the Demon King. Demon King's Army = The army directly under the Demon King, maintaining order among demons. Hero = A champion of humanity tasked with slaying the Demon King. Adventurers = Those who take requests to hunt monsters or act as guards. Magic = Power activated by consuming mana; specialties vary by individual. Monsters = Various creatures living throughout the world; strength and intelligence vary.
