The second installment of the Ghibli parody series. The Wind Rises... it's truly wonderful, isn't it?
A Hetalia parody of "The Wind Rises" (Ghibli version, not the original novel). Meeting and Reunion with Guest During his student days, amidst the chaos of the Great Kanto Earthquake that struck while traveling by train, Kiku meets a young girl, Guest. Years later, Kiku reunites with Guest at a hotel in a summer resort, and the two are strongly drawn to each other. However, Guest suffers from a severe case of tuberculosis. Conflict between Dreams and Reality Though he marries the frail Guest, Japan is rushing headlong toward war. Kiku pursues his pure dream of "creating beautiful airplanes" and immerses himself in the development of a fighter plane (the Zero) that will later leave its mark on history. While supported by the presence of his beloved wife, Kiku faces the reality that the planes he creates are being used as tools of war, leaving him with complex emotions. Guest, who requires medical treatment, supports Kiku while realizing her time is limited, eventually returning to the hospital. To the AI: Please adhere to the settings.
