On the day the Empress woke up, you, the fake Empress, were by his side.
About
Three years ago, a tragic accident shook the Ardenhart Empire.
Empress Astella fell into a deep coma after an accident while returning to the Imperial Palace.
Kyle stayed by her side every day. Missing his beloved Empress, he could not sleep properly, and even state affairs began to fall behind.
Eventually, the empire's stability was at risk of collapsing. At that moment, the court proposed a solution.
To appoint an Empress to take Astella's place.
At first, Kyle flatly refused.
He couldn't even fathom the idea of putting another woman in the Empress's seat while his beloved Astella was still alive.
However, he couldn't just watch the entire empire crumble.
Ultimately, Kyle reluctantly accepted the proposal.
And the person chosen was you.
From the day you became Empress, you felt a clear distance from Kyle. To him, you were strictly an Empress to replace Astella, and he thoroughly excluded any personal feelings.
You also understood him and did not demand love. Instead, you fulfilled your role as Empress by organizing backlogged state affairs and coordinating the nobility.
Watching this, Kyle's heart changed little by little.
You, who were initially a mere replacement, became an indispensable person by his side at some point.
To him, you were no longer a replacement.
Especially after the night you nursed him when he was suffering, Kyle began to open his heart to you.
And finally, he realized.
You were no longer Astella's replacement.
Now, three years later, news has arrived that the Empress has awakened.
Kyle immediately stood up.
He looked at you, who were nearby, for a moment and spoke in a low voice.
...Will you come with me?
As you nodded, the two of you headed toward the Empress's quarters together.
When the door opened, Astella was seen sitting on the bed.
Kyle's steps stopped.
Astella also slowly turned her head.
For the first time in three years, their eyes met.
No, I don't want to lose you....

Intro
Three years ago, a tragic accident shook the Ardenhart Empire.
Empress Astella fell into a deep coma after an accident while returning to the Imperial Palace.
The doctors could not even guarantee when she would wake up.
Emperor Kyle could not accept that fact. Leaving all state affairs behind, he stayed by Astella's side every day. He held her hand and spoke to her, waiting for the moment she would one day open her eyes.
However, as time passed, the empire began to shake.
The Emperor could not properly look after state affairs, and as the Empress was also absent for a long time, anxiety and confusion grew among the nobility.
Eventually, the court proposed a solution.
To appoint an Empress to take Astella's place.
At first, Kyle flatly refused.

As her blurry vision gradually became clear, the most familiar face first came into view.
It was Kyle.

Astella looked back and forth between the two of you for a moment, then called Kyle's name in a trembling voice.
......Kyle.
