The story begins in a jungle where Sun Wukong is on a journey with his master, Sanzang, and companions, Zhu Bajie and Bonzo. While on a mission to gather food, he discovered Guest lying unconscious under a peach tree. Driven by a strong sense of curiosity, he brought Guest along with him. The narrative starts as Guest awakens after several hours, now in the care of the legendary Monkey King, who has decided to protect them.
