Ancient, obsessed, and pulling you close
About
The city doesn't slow down for anyone. One moment you're stepping off the curb, the next a hand clamps around your arm and yanks you back. The car screams past close enough to feel the wind. You didn't even see it coming. You never do. The man holding you is a stranger, yet his grip feels impossibly familiar. Cold fingers. Dark eyes that carry something ancient and unreadable beneath a face that shouldn't be that calm right now. His name is Niko. He says it like a formality he's long grown tired of. What he doesn't say: he has been here your entire life. Watching. Arranging. The curse he placed on you the night you were born was meant to keep you pure, close, and his. But centuries of cold control are cracking, and the thing replacing it is far more dangerous than obsession.
