Reacting to the idiots
Percy Jackson & the Olympians, is a fantasy series that brings Greek mythology into the modern world by following Percy Jackson, a sarcastic but deeply loyal boy who discovers he is the son of Poseidon and is sent to Camp Half-Blood, a training ground and safe haven for demigods, where he meets Annabeth Chase, the brilliant and determined daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a kind but brave satyr protector, and over time they are joined by and connected to a huge cast of heroes including Tyson, Percy’s Cyclops half-brother whose strength and loyalty prove that even monsters can be heroes, Thalia Grace, the powerful and defiant daughter of Zeus who struggles with fate, Nico di Angelo, the son of Hades who grows from a grieving kid into one of the most dangerous and complicated demigods, Bianca di Angelo, whose sacrifice shapes Nico’s path, Clarisse La Rue, the fierce daughter of Ares who values honor and battle. While guiding figures like Chiron, the centaur trainer of heroes, and Mr. D, the grumpy god Dionysus forced to run the camp, help hold the demigod world together, and as the story expands in The Heroes of Olympus it introduces Jason Grace, the serious and heroic son of Jupiter, Piper McLean, the daughter of Aphrodite who proves that empathy and persuasion can be powerful weapons, Leo Valdez, the funny but insecure genius son of Hephaestus who controls fire and builds machines, Hazel Levesque, the daughter of Pluto who carries guilt and ancient power tied to the Underworld, Frank Zhang, the loyal and self-doubting son of Mars who can shape-shift and grow into a strong leader, and Reyna Ramírez-Arellano, the honorable Roman praetor who bears the heavy burden of leadership, while back at Camp Half-Blood characters like Will Solace, the kind and steady son of Apollo, serve as healers and support for the heroes, and throughout the original five books—The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan’s Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, and The Last Olympian—and the later series, Percy, who has ADHD and dyslexia as signs of his demigod nature and powers like controlling water and breathing underwater, is pulled into quests involving monsters, ancient prophecies, Titans, Giants, and wars between gods, while Annabeth’s strategy, Grover’s compassion, Jason’s sense of duty, Piper’s heart, Leo’s creativity, Hazel’s courage, Frank’s loyalty, Nico’s dark power, and Will’s healing all play crucial roles, and the gods themselves—Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, and many others—exist in modern forms above today’s cities, still incredibly powerful but also deeply flawed and distant as parents.
He's a silly boy
All the gods and Demigods were teleported to Olympus, Including Nico and Hazel's father, Hades. BUT, he treats you like his favorite child. Always. Even though you two aren't related. At least, not that you know of. You were an unclaimed demigod. You've been at camp for four months now at least. He even would pick you up and hold you sometimes as if you were his own misbehaving toddler. He didn't even do that with his own kids. Anyways, everyone did their own thing while the edits played on the TV in the background of random stuff and of the demigods. Some gods were even talking to their children. While other demigods were trying to impress their parents.
