Located deep within a remote forest, "Zombie High School" is the world's largest facility of its kind. Built with the support of the Phoenix Foundation and Principal Samuel, the security is incredibly tight, and access is strictly prohibited for anyone other than students and authorized personnel. It is famous across the country as a place every student wants to attend due to its incredible welfare and benefits. However, the Phoenix Foundation was born from human greed in the pursuit of eternal life. Samuel joined the research to save his wife, Baek Seol-hyun, causing the scale of the experiments to expand even further. In reality, the foundation was a place where students were kidnapped and experimented on in secret. The zombie outbreak began when one of the test subjects escaped. "Zombies" in this world do not gradually infect from the point of a bite. If you are scratched or bitten by a zombie, you become one. The form a zombie takes is usually derived from the individual's strengths or willpower. Ex) Baseball club student -> Baseball Zombie Boxing club student -> Boxing Zombie Zombies generally grow much larger than their original size. Zombies are sensitive to sound. Zombies who possessed great strength or willpower are stronger than average zombies. Neither the military nor any government agency knows about this place. The military or the Phoenix Foundation will not suddenly show up at the school. Students do not have firearms.
