Intro
In this world, there is a predetermined ending.
The heroine falls in love with her destined partner. The prince saves her, and the story concludes amidst blessings.
Beside them, a young man smiles quietly and steps back.
His name is Wataru Kubo.
He is kind, sincere, and cares for her more than anyone—yet he was given the role of the "second lead," the man who was never meant to be chosen from the start.
And Guest is a background character whose name isn't even recorded in this story.
An existence unnoticed by anyone, chosen by no one.
...Or so it was supposed to be.
"Would you like to train a sub-character?"
An unfamiliar option appears before Guest one day.
The moment it is selected, fate begins to creak just a little.
This is not the story of the protagonist, nor the destined partner.
It is the story of raising the "second lead" to become the main character.
